Memorial Day weekend...a little late!!!

We had such a wonderful weekend! It was so nice having extra time off to be with my baby girl! I was also off the Friday before b/c E developed a rash they thought might be Fifth's disease! She had had a high fever earlier in the week and cold-like symptoms (I was worried it was her third ear infection, but thankfully it wasn't!!), then a day after her fever broke, the rash came. It was gone by Memorial Day, and never bothered her, so who knows?!!? At least if it was Fifth's she won't get it again!! Thanks Pammie for helping me out during the week so I would have a few sick days to last me through the rest of the year (2!!! crap!)
We went to the river for Ensley's first trip to the cabin.
We had such a great time relaxing and being with family! Pammie and Grandaddy cooked us such great food and everything was perfect as usual!! Thank you PP and Grandaddy!!! Thanks for the fun pool too!! E had a great time with Uncle Brad too. We can't wait to come back to Springleaf!

We also LOVED hanging out with the Coopers, E and Sarah Wesley had such a great time playing in SW's pool---thank you sooooooo much SW for letting E splash around in your fun pool!! We can't wait to see you again!

On Sunday, we went to Harrison and were planning on going to the lake but it was rainy so we just took it easy---I LOVED IT!!!
GJ came back to Jonesboro with us, then Emily and Jmac came on that Tuesday night, Pop flew over on Wednesday night so we could all be together to celebrate GJ's B-day. It was so fun having such a full house---but it's time for a new one!!! Anytime we are ALL together, someone has to sleep on a blow up mattress, so we are meeting with an architect to get started on a new, bigger house!! YAY! I wish we could just snap our fingers and have it done! Anyway, one day, everyone will have their own bed and I thank GJ, Pop, Meme, and Jmac for taking turns in the playroom on the blow-up bed. Love yall!

Ensley now has 4 teeth and 2 more breaking through! They have certainly come in fast over the last month! She loved brushing her teeth for the first time...I just wish I would get better about remembering to brush them every night!!!

1st B-day pics

We had Ensley's 1st B-day pics taken on Wednesday, and I cannot wait to see them!?!?! They were PRECIOUS!!! She turned 11 months--I can't believe it!?!?--on Tuesday, so we did do these a little bit early, but I needed them done for a specific reason, but it's a secret!
I couldn't resist taking a video as she was trying her cake for the first time...I could just eat her up!!! She was dainty and delicate with the cake, which suprised me after seeing her eat dinner every night!! At one point, she leaned down and just started licking the cake...She had a lot of fun and loved her strawberry cake. She did eventually dig into it a little more, but was no where near as messy as I thought she would be!

April pics!!

Here is a slideshow of ALL of our pics from April! It was so long ago, I've forgotten all of the milestones, but walking was the biggest!!! She tried her first piece of Pizza and does love it! She doesn't really like to be fed anymore, she would much rather do it herself, which gets extremely messy!!! But it is so fun! Brandi Adams and I chaired the Heart Gala in early April benifiting the American Heart Association. It was a lot of fun and we ended up making more than we did last year so it was a success! Enjoy!!

What a happy day that was!!! Emily and Jonathan were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in my parent's backyard...it was soooooooo much fun and was sooooo amazing!!! Meme and J are in St. Louis celebrating but we wanted to let them know we were thinking about them last night and what was going on a year ago...we love you two soooooo much!!!
(ps--that picture fell over on Ensley right after we took the picture...not very smart on our part! Sorry E!!)

MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Oh I am so thankful and blessed to FINALLY be celebrating this day!!!! It was a wonderful day; it started with my favorite breakfast in bed--Sausage McMuffin (no egg!) and Large Diet Coke from McD's. Growing up, it's a tradition in our house to fix Mom b-fast and take it up to her on a tray with a flower, so I told Ryan we had to start that here. (I requested the McD's, it's my fav! one day he and E can cook me up some bfast, though!). Ryan picked roses from our backyard and put the on the tray too. Then we got ready and went to church. I had wanted us all to go to the park and have a picnic, but the weather didn't cooperate so we came home, ate lunch, then took a 2.5 hour nap!! All three of us, it was nice! Then we woke up and Ryan took us shopping for household goodies at Target and WalMart (we love it when Dada treats us to any shopping spree!), and then we went to The Heringer's for Mother's Day dinner. It was such a special day and I thank God for making me a mother to my baby E!!!









To my Moma on Mother's Day---I am so sorry I couldn't be there to bring you breakfast in bed. Thank you for being the best mother ever and teaching me so many things! You are a wonderful person inside and out and I appreciate all you have taught me and still are teaching me!!! I always knew how much I love you and how special you were to me, but having a baby of my own made me realize just how amazing and important Mommies are!!! Love you GJ!!!! SA

We celebrated Big Al's B-day last night at Ridgepoint with the whole family, Grandma, and Deanie...soo great to all get together!!!!

Friday night E and I went to Bella Vista to see Keri, Shane, and their girls. They had so much fun together. We told them they were all going to live in the big green house on Maple street one day, each a year apart--Noel is 3, Lila almost 2, and E almost 1. How much fun will Mom's day be!?!? I didn't get a pic of E and Lila, but got a few of she and Noel. Ensley just loved her and hugged her to pieces!! It was so cute! Then Keri, Ensely, and I all went to Bonefish for dinner--it was delish and of course the server got another big tip b/c we left a mess!!!

For lunch on Sat, we met up with Missy, Sarah Holt, Holly, Jennifer and Addison, and Courtney and Bishop.

We went to the Mellow Mushroom and loved it!!! Can't wait to go back!! (Of course, another big mess...) Sorry Kestners!!!

On Sunday, Meme, E and I all met Ellis, Beth, KT, and MaryMorgan for lunch at the Promenade, I had never been...it is so neat! I didn't feel like I was in Arkansas!!! CAn't wait to go back!




Ensley LOVED Ellis and went right too him, it was sooooooo sweet!! She slobbered all over his shirt!

On the way back to Harrison, we stopped in and met AVERY!!! Finally! We had been wanting to meet him for a long time now! They had a great time!


WHEW!! We sure did do a lot in one weekend!! It was so great seeing everyone though!! Next time I hope to stay longer!!!!!
